We did a double-take when we saw the price of this Plymouth home, thinking it was in Plymouth Mass., where it would be a steal for $1,999,000. Alas, the difference 1,200 miles make. Located in Plymouth, Minn., this home's magnificence isn't diminished, but its price certainly is.

There is an elevator and a main floor master-bedroom suite. The home has large bay windows, beautiful hardwood floors throughout, marble columns and a chef's kitchen with center island sinks.
Plymouth -- the one in Minnesota -- was named as Money magazine's No. 1 Best Place to Live in 2008 for cities with populations of between 50,000 and 300,000.
The other Plymouth, well, it wasn't.
Plymouth, Minn., is located 12 miles from Minneapolis.
